About us

Mission of the Godly ministries is a ministry founded by Rev. Jonstone Ochwo and Pastor David Okecho in collaboration with six others.

                Rev. Johnstone Ochwo

Born in 1959, after secondary education went to Clinical officers training school where he obtained certificate in nursing, served in the capacity of male nurse in various hospitals. Jonstone Ochwo  was born again in 1986 and joined global theological seminary in 1992  graduating with a diploma in 1996.  God called him to the ministry in 1990, since then he has served as a Pastor, National missionary and educator.

Jonstone Ochwo has planted several churches in Uganda namely : Kimbale Baptist Church , Mayole Baptist church, Kitumba Baptist Church and of recent, World Mission Gospel  Fellowship, the Church that meets at Bilkon Hotel Jinja.

Most of these churches, with exceptation of World mission Gospel fellowship are already established with land and buildings.

He joined Uganda Baptist seminary in 2000 and graduated with a Bachalor of theology in 2003.

Johnstone Ochwo is married to Faith, with 5 children. He is Dean of the local Bible school that trains Pastors and other church leaders in ministry  awarding them certificates.

Rev. Johnstone Ochwo is a founder and executive Director of the mission of the Godly Ministries.

 Pastor David Okecho.

Born in 1959, holds a Diploma in theology, accepted christ as lord and personal saviour  in 1982.  He was called to the Ministry in 1990 and he has served as a Pastor and church planter. He has planted over 20 Churches in Jinja and in othe Districts.He serves  mission of the Godly ministries as General Secretary.

Pastor David Okecho is married to Magret  with 6 children.
